FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MATHEMATICS EDUCATION

AIMER will be conducting the First Conference on Mathematics Education in Bhubaneswar (India) during 10 – 13 January 2016.
Main Theme: Teaching and learning Geometry in schools and colleges.
Sub Themes:
Pure geometry Vs Coordinate geometry
Difficulties of teaching/learning concepts in pure geometry.
Non - Euclidean Geometry
Historical aspects of pure / coordinate / non-Euclidean geometry
Geometry in Mathematical Olympiads
(Taking a problem from an Olympiad examination paper and explaining it shall be avoided)
Using technology in teaching and learning geometry.
Any other topic in line with the theme.

  • Submission of Full length paper 1st – December 2015. Acceptance / Rejection will be intimated by 10th – December 2015.
  • After the acceptance of the paper please be in touch with us so that we give the mode of payment of the delegate fee.
  • For local candidates without accommodation the fee will be Rs 2000
  • With Accommodation (dormitory type) the fee will be Rs 2500
  • Spot registration is not allowed.
  • If you want an accommodation in a hotel, you are advised to go to net and find a suitable hotel and book the room of your choice. (The room rent will be paid by delegate)
